Reñaca

is a city to the north of Viña del Mar in Central Chile

This small beach town is a popular destination for Santiaguinos and Argentines from Mendoza in the summer months of Jaunary and February. The most “popular” section of the beach is the Quinta Sector to the north where most of the young, fashionable people can be found.

Get in

By car or take a bus from the Plaza de Armas in Viña del Mar to Reñaca. It is located about 15 minutes up the coast from the center of Viña on the way to Con Con.

Get around

Due to its small size, it’s not hard to move around Reñaca by walk. But if you need to get to other places faster, you can use a Bus, also called Micro, or a Colectivo, a small car usually faster and more comfortable.

Do

You can spend time at the beaches, but take in mind that they aren’t very safe for swimming, so be careful.
